Johnson Controls has introduced six new additions to the Cloudvue camera portfolio, greatly expanding the range of camera options and form factors for customers to leverage the power and convenience of cloud video surveillance.
With this launch, Johnson Controls is able to offer customers one of the most robust portfolios of cloud-enabled cameras, which are in high-demand thanks to substantial growth in the emerging cloud-based technologies market, which statistics confirm has tripled in revenue over the past five years.
The cost-effective, high-resolution and high-performance cameras simplify installation and configuration and are suitable for exterior applications where rugged cameras are required to withstand harsh environments and where interior applications demand an appropriate aesthetic.
The Cloudvue Gen3 cloud-ready cameras are equipped with powerful processors for stronger surveillance performance. Available in 3MP and 8MP resolutions, the compact mini-dome, outdoor mini-dome and the outdoor bullet cameras are designed to offer high-image quality, feature rich surveillance options for a wide range of applications, including retail, apartment complexes and manufacturing facilities, just to name a few.
Customers looking for simplified hardware device management can select the Cloudvue Gen3 cameras as part of the Cloudvue Security as a Service model. With an annual fee, Cloudvue Security as a Service includes unlimited cloud video storage and advanced service replacement on camera hardware for no additional fee.
