Integrated security manufacturer TDSi has appointed Dean Jeanes as its Internal Technical Support Engineer.

Jeanes joins the team after gaining experience with the British Army.

TDSi Technical Support Manager Jon Hooley said: “Dean has the perfect blend of technical skills and training that make him the ideal choice to support TDSi’s integrated access control solutions.

“With an upsurge in demand in the UK and internationally, this is the ideal time for us to grow and enrich our team of technical specialists.”

Jeanes said: “I joined the British Army in November 2013 as a signaller based in 3rd UK Division and, over the following years, I have cultivated skills, pushing myself physically further than ever before and travelled the world.

“I made the decision to leave the British Army and try something different and joined a telecommunications company, where I further broadened my experience as a network engineer in a commercial environment.

“Once the opportunity to work for TDSi presented itself, I knew it would be the ideal career progression for me.

“I feel so lucky as I had been looking for a chance to progress further in the IT industry and TDSi has really welcomed me into the team.”

Jeanes is an AFC Bournemouth supporter who enjoys golf, rugby and work outs at the gym. He is currently completing internal training for his new role at TDSi.
