James Longcroft crowned Export Champion by DIT

James Longcroft, Sales Director of Hertfordshire manufacturing company, Silent Sentinel Ltd has been named as a 2020 Export Champion for the East of England, by The Department for International Trade (DIT). DIT has selected James from Silent Sentinel for his success in selling overseas and in this role he will be guiding and helping others on their exporting journey.
Export Champions are selected for their approach to growing the UK economy through exporting and their commitment to helping other businesses to do the same by providing peer-to-peer support and advice. Their aim is to encourage companies in their region to start exporting.
Silent Sentinel, which has its base in the UK and other offices in the US and the UAE, design, manufacture and supply advanced surveillance systems targeted at the Homeland Security market.
The company has exported to more than 50 countries across six continents and is growing its network of overseas partners, who distribute its products.
“We have been working with DIT for a long time and they have hugely supported our growth in exporting, so I was delighted to be asked to be an Export Champion and hope I can help other local businesses expand or start exporting,” states James Longcroft, Sales Director.
