Cloud-based AI technology provider, Iveda, has announced a key enhancement to its partnership with the Arab Organization for Industrialization (AOI) and hardware and software developer, ZeroTech.
The company has signed a reseller agreement with both entities, thus marking a milestone in the localisation of Iveda products and technology in Egypt and the surrounding region.
Major milestone for Iveda
Iveda is said to be transferring the technology behind its VEMO Body Cam.
According to the company, this means it will now be locally manufactured by AOI and ZeroTech, enabling mass production of VEMO in Egypt for both government and private sector use across the region.
The integration of VEMO with IvedaAI is expected to enable Egyptian agencies and enterprises to leverage real-time intelligence and situational control.
“Supporting the region’s goals”
This partnership aligns with the grand opening of AOI’s new building in Cairo, which feature Iveda’s Innovation Offices inside.
In October, David Ly, Founder and CEO, Iveda attended the event and said: “Our partnership with AOI and ZeroTech represents a pivotal step in the localization of Iveda’s products for the Egyptian market.
“By manufacturing the VEMO Body Cam in Egypt, we are not only accelerating the deployment of cutting-edge technology but also supporting the region’s goals in advancing security and safety solutions.
“I am also thrilled to announce that we have appointed an Egyptian Market Manager to oversee operations and ensure we meet the increasing demand for our solutions in the region.”
