Mitie has attained confirmation that it is operating in accordance with ISO 31000:2018.
The achievement is said to reflect the company’s holistic approach to risk management across the business, demonstrating its expertise and preparedness in business resilience.
ISO 31000 evaluation
According to Mitie, the validation comes following an extensive independent evaluation process.
During this process, all aspects of risk management practices across the entire Mitie Group were thoroughly assessed by the British Standards Institution (BSI).
Over 350 pieces of information on Mitie’s processes were evaluated, including internal audits, risk registers and training records.
This achievement builds on Mitie’s risk analysis credentials, having achieved the ISO 22301 standard in March 2023.
“A reflection of our deep expertise”
“As a large organisation, we understand the importance of engraining the best possible risk management processes across our business,” said Peter Dickinson, Chief Legal Officer, Mitie.
“Attaining ISO 31000 validation is a reflection of our deep expertise in managing and mitigating risk, as well as our commitment to building and maintaining safe work environments for our colleagues and our customers.”
