International Cyber Expo launches free-to-attend Cyber Webinar series

The newly launched International Cyber Expo is kicking off its programme of educational content early by launching a free-to-attend webinar series. Taking place on 7 July, the webinar series will welcome industry experts across four separate sessions, running from 10am to 1pm.
Opening the series, widely published journalist specialising in the security and intelligence arenas, Philip Ingram MBE, will be joined by Professor Ciaran Martin, former head of NCSC, to explore the realities of the current cyber risk and give tips on Understanding the Cyber Landscape, threats, opportunities and making the best use of NCSC and other public resources.
The cyber world by its very nature is complex and the legal and regulatory world adds another layer of complexity which is often overlooked. Dean Armstrong QC – Head of Chambers 36 Group and Philip Ingram MBE will continue the discussion in a 30-minute session about Cyber Law and what CISO and CEOs need to know.
Following this, Nicola Whiting, Chief Strategy Officer and Co-Owner of Titania will deliver a presentation on why Embracing Diversity including Neuro Diversity is normal. She will explain how thinking differently will provide a better foundation to ensure cyber capabilities are designed and deployed by a better reflection of what should be considered as normality in society. The session will expand visitor’s thinking and help them to understand how proper diversity is normal and can enhance security businesses.
Closing the series, Professor Lisa Short, Top 50 Global Thought Leaders & Influencers on Blockchain, will come together with Philip Ingram MBE to discuss Blockchain and NFTs for Security Professionals – What are they? How can they help and what do security professionals need to know? The session will give insight into how Blockchain, non-fungible tokens (NFTs) are emerging capabilities with real implications for security and exactly what security professionals need to know.
