Taking place at the NEC Birmingham from 24-27 September, IMHX is a world leading event directly focused on the logistics sector. It attracts over 16,000 visitors from major customers including Tesco, DHL, John Lewis, Marks & Spencer, Jaguar Land Rover, WM Morrisons, Specsavers, Babcock, Ocado, G4S and many more.

With the development and construction of warehouses, storage, distribution and handling centres growing by 30% in the UK in 2018, the logistics industry is a critical national asset. Vital supplies, from food and clothing to medicine and technology, rely on a complex logistics infrastructure – an infrastructure that needs robust security and fire safety solutions to remain operational.

This is where the Protecting Logistics Pavilion comes in, demonstrating where IFSEC and FIREX have a direct alignment with this key vertical sector. It offers a prime opportunity for manufacturers of video surveillance, facial recognition, access control, integrated solutions, intruder detection, perimeter protection, fire alarms and detection, suppression systems, portable extinguishing and fire stopping to meet their logistics sector customers at their own exclusive event.

“This is a really rewarding chance for security and fire safety manufacturers to influence the logistics sector at the source,” commented Gerry Dunphy, Strategy Director, IFSEC & FIREX. “We’re making it easier than ever for businesses to participate and meet seriously influential new customers.”

The Protecting Logistics Pavilion introduces the security and fire protection sectors into IMHX through an open and engaging platform. It is an area where visitors can meet and discuss their security and fire challenges with experts from leading manufacturers of asset protection technologies. The Pavilion will facilitate off-stand meetings and discussions with technology partners to help to address the 21st century challenges faced by such a critical national asset.
