IDIS is preparing to showcase myriad state-of-the-art surveillance and AI advancements at the eagerly awaited 25th-anniversary instalment of Intersec in Dubai, scheduled from 16-18 January.

As the largest in-country surveillance manufacturer in South Korea, IDIS is globally recognised for its advanced end-to-end video solutions and is extending its offerings further with ground-breaking innovations in communications and AI alongside its renowned camera technology.

The spotlight of this showcase will be an expanded range of IDIS’s edge AI cameras, introducing nine new models, including 2MP domes and bullets and 5MP turrets, featuring the latest Lightmaster NIR technology for superior night-time vision and true Wide Dynamic Range (WDR).

Globally recognised

This extended line-up enables users to precisely target the power of IDIS Deep Learning Analytics where it’s needed the most, facilitating faster, more accurate detection of objects, intrusion events, line crossing and loitering detection.

Among the latest additions are 2MP video intercoms, allowing two-way communication via the cost-free IDIS Centre VMS and IDIS Mobile Plus app.

Major retailers have integrated IDIS’s profit-enhancing solutions into their operations, such as the plug-in All-In-One AI Box for Retail (DV-1304).

At Intersec, visitors will have the opportunity to explore the extended Smart Video Solutions for Retail, including PTZs with built-in PoE extenders, edge AI bullets, domes and turrets and a new affordable range of Lite Series cameras.

Fast and convenient

A central focus of the IDIS stand at Intersec will be the emphasis on easier and more affordable, centralised AI-powered monitoring, with the IDIS Intelligent Wall Station (IWS) making building and deploying dynamic video walls of any type and size fast and convenient.

IDIS will also be launching its parking guidance cameras at Intersec, designed to support secure parking management and enhance the overall parking experience for drivers.

Visitors will also have the chance to witness push-to-talk over cellular (POC) solutions from IDIS Powertel, South Korea’s leading radio communications company, now integrated with ISS VMS.

“Significant showcase” for IDIS

Dennis Choi, General Manager, IDIS Middle East & Africa remarked: “This will be one of our most significant showcase events of recent years, with exciting product launches and enhanced solutions innovations.

“Video technology is entering a new phase with the development of transformative AI and communications capabilities as well as demand for complete end-to-end solutions for a single manufacturer.

IDIS will be showcasing its advances in all of these fields that will benefit our customers in new and exciting ways.”
