HID has announced new enhancements which are expected to help organisations fast-track their mobile access adoption as part of their broader digital transformation.
The updates – which have been unveiled ahead of GSX 2026 – enable users to build on infrastructure, reduce onsite work and streamline deployment by eliminating the need to replace readers or issue new mobile keys.
HID focuses on mobile access adoption
The HID Mobile Access App now includes functionality that enables HID mobile-ready readers to use existing Seos keys without needing to replace or reconfigure readers, perform firmware updates or require truck rolls.
According to the company, the result is a faster and lower-cost path to mobile while maintaining security.
For HID Advantage Partner Program (APP) partners participating in HID’s Trade-Up program in North America, HID is also introducing QuickStart to Mobile, a service that enables HID to onboard end users on behalf of integration partners.
Instead of spending time enrolling users, partners can focus on project delivery as customers begin issuing mobile credentials sooner, simplifying deployment planning and user rollout.
HID will showcase these capabilities during GSX 2026 at Booth #1323.
