Hanwha Vision launches SolidEDGE cameras

A global vision solutions provider has launched a new range of cameras.
Hanwha Vision has claimed that the new SolidEDGE cameras are the first real SSD-based cameras on the market with an embedded Wisenet WAVE VMS server.

The new cameras are available in two models: The PNV-A6081R-E1T and PNV-A6081R-E2T.
Eliminating the need for an external server, both SolidEDGE cameras also remove the requirement for a cloud subscription to store video footage.
Moreover, they remove the need for high speed connectivity to upload video onto the cloud.
According to Hanwha, the cameras meet a need for more efficient and cost-effective solutions that ensure security and safety.
Running on the embedded Linux operating system with a hardware system on the edge, the SSD provides additional benefits over traditional surveillance systems.
