Gunnebo Entrance Control has announced that it is expanding its North American presence with a new manufacturing facility in Duncan, South Carolina.

The facility is expected to more than double its production capacity and reinforce its commitment to localised manufacturing and customer focused solutions.

According to the company, the opening of the new facility marks a major milestone in the company’s growth strategy, enabling it to better serve North American customers with faster production and improved supply chain efficiency.

“A crucial step”

Mike Slauson, VP BU Entrance Control North America, Gunnebo Entrance Control explained: “As we continue to grow in North America, expanding our manufacturing capabilities locally is a crucial step.

“The new facility in Duncan allows us to scale production while improving delivery speed and optimising efficiencies for our customers.”

Expansion

This strategic move strengthens supply chain resilience and supports the company’s mission to provide tailored solutions that meet the specific needs of the North American market, Gunnebo adds.

The investment in US production underscores Gunnebo Entrance Control’s dedication to innovation, efficiency and customer satisfaction.

By manufacturing key product lines domestically, the company highlights that it is improving its ability to meet market demands with greater responsiveness and reliability.
