Gallagher has confirmed that its new generation of controllers will soon be available for purchase.
Starting with the Controller 7000 – which will be available from 10 November – the global security manufacturer’s new solutions are said to lay the ‘groundwork for the new age of cybersecurity’.
Gallagher Security controller
Gallagher’s Controller 7000 (C7000) offers users streamlined upgrades and advanced cybersecurity.
Capable of managing localised access control, intruder alarms, perimeter security, business automation and logic needs, it builds on the strength of the company’s Controller 7000 Single Door solution.
This gives users an opportunity to leverage hardware and firmware to build a platform designed to catapult their organisation into the future.
Easy to upgrade, the C7000 is designed with the same wiring and ports as the Controller 6000.
“The first step in a new era”
The new solution features enhanced hardware and cybersecurity baked in from inception.
Powerful iMX8 System-on chip and an NXP Edgelock secure element ensure a Trusted Execution Environment (TEE).
This also guarantees software authenticity on each device.
“The C7000 is the first step in a new era of Gallagher’s product development and I believe this controller offers our customers limitless potential and industry leading cyber-protection,” commented Jim Rayner, Value Owner, Gallagher.
“We’re excited by what we’ve achieved with this controller and our customers will continue finding value in the device for many years to come.”
