Gallagher expands expertise of European team with new additions

Gallagher has announced the appointment of Mark Vickers as Business Development Manager responsible for the central southern region of the UK and Matt Wills as Technical Account Manager responsible for the Midlands and Ireland.
“To continue delivering outstanding support to our growing customer base and Channel Partner network, I’m pleased to welcome both Mark and Matt to our European team,” says Richard Huison, Gallagher’s Regional General Manager for the UK and Europe. “Both come with extensive experience within the security industry. Mark joins us with a long history of working with integrator networks and Matt has a deep technical knowledge from years of installing security systems.”
Mark Vickers joins Gallagher with a wealth of Channel Partner management experience. In his previous role, Mark was a PIDS Project Sales Manager responsible for creating a Channel Partner Programme and overseeing UK and export detection-based projects. Prior to this, he held a UK Channel Partner Manager role for more than 11 years.
“I wanted to join Team Gallagher because of the company’s strong reputation, along with the fact I believe Gallagher is a technology leader in the access control market,” explains Mark. “I’m really looking forward to meeting my new Channel Partners, so I can start understanding their needs and aspirations.”
Matt Wills joined the industry in 2015, progressing from Installation Engineer to Installation Supervisor within six years.
“Following extensive training in the Gallagher system and familiarising myself with the software and its capabilities, I knew there was no better product for high security access control than Gallagher. I am looking forward to contributing to the future success of this product. Having used the Gallagher system for many years, I truly believe it is the full package with endless possibilities.
“I can’t wait to get out and meet our Channel Partners and end users and show them how to use the Gallagher system to its true potential. I’m also excited to provide support to both Channel and customers in the same way I have received in-market support from the Gallagher family over the years,” says Matt.
