“Nearly a decade of learning and levelopment expertise”

In her new role, Rehman will champion End User training, develop new learning modules and enhance existing resources like the End User Knowledge Centre.

“I’m excited to collaborate with our customers and partners to build impactful training solutions that empower and enable them every step of the way,” says Rehman.

Caitlin Doherty

Doherty joins Gallagher with a strong background in training coordination, bringing exceptional organisational and problem-solving skills.

She will oversee all Australian training queries, logistics and scheduling, ensuring the delivery of more than 175 courses planned for the new year.

“I was drawn to Gallagher because of its strong team culture and forward-thinking approach. I’m passionate about creating learning experiences that make a real difference,” said Doherty.

Expanding teams

With these appointments, Mitchell says Gallagher’s Australian-based Training Team now consists of four full-time members, dedicated to delivering more than 170 courses each year and training over 2,000 customers across Australia and Papua New Guinea.

According to Gallagher, the expanded team will lead several exciting initiatives to transform the learning experience for Gallagher Channel Partners and End Users, including the Technician Knowledge Centre.

“Accurate, engaging and easy-to-follow”

Mitchell added: “Launched earlier this year, the Technician Knowledge Centre provides technicians with on-demand access to installation guides, troubleshooting resources and video tutorials, ensuring they have the tools they need to succeed anytime, anywhere.

“Gallagher is also developing its second Augmented Reality training environment, focused on Access Hardware Installers.

“This immersive platform allows learners to practice and refine their skills in a realistic virtual setting without the need for physical equipment.”

She continued: “The End User Knowledge Centre is undergoing a major refurbishment with more than 80 existing videos being updated to reflect the latest software versions and over 30 new videos being added. This refresh ensures customers have access to accurate, engaging and easy-to-follow content.”

“Our dedicated training space supports the learning experience through in-person connection with our training team, as well as the wider Gallagher Security leadership team based at our Gold Coast office.

“We’re expanding on our award-winning training initiatives to meet evolving customer needs and the growing demand for accessible, high-impact security education.

“We know there’s an exceptional need for the right training, education and upskilling in the wider security industry and our initiatives transform how knowledge is delivered, applied and sustained across the industry,” she concluded.
