French cybersecurity group launches new Center of Expertise

Independent French cybersecurity group, Almond, has created a Center of Expertise dedicated to Identity and Access Management – a field that has become central to cybersecurity architectures.

The new Center of Expertise will be led by Steeve Carette, who has been recruited to drive this stage of Almond’s development and accelerate the deployment of large-scale IAM programs.

Almond’s new Center of Expertise

Building on several years of proven IAM expertise – strengthened through its partnership with French software vendor Memority – Almond is launching the new Center of Expertise to structure its identity and access management offering.

The initiative is also said to help support clients in the governance of digital identities – a core pillar of their cybersecurity strategy.

Almond’s IAM Center of Expertise will address all challenges related to digital identities: Identity governance and administration (IAG), privileged access management (PAM) and strong authentication (SSO, MFA).

This approach is said to make it possible to simultaneously meet companies’ needs in terms of security, regulatory compliance (GDPR, ISO 27001, NIS2, DORA, etc.) and the scalability and standardisation of IT processes.

“We are scaling up”

Steeve Carette, who has over 25 years of experience in IT and cybersecurity, will develop Almond’s IAM offerings, unite existing expertise and build a dedicated team capable of supporting the group’s clients in their strategic projects.

“The creation of this Center of Expertise reflects a strong conviction: IAM has become a foundational pillar of cybersecurity architectures and a key driver of information system performance,” said Jean-François Aliotti and Olivier Pantaleo, Co-CEOs, Almond.

“By creating this Center of Expertise and placing it under the responsibility of Steeve Carette, we are scaling up to deploy high-stakes IAM programs and provide our clients with the means to sustainably control their identity environments.

“For them, it is a major lever for trust, compliance and resilience.”
