New AI-powered dome cameras from Axis Communications

Axis Communications has launched four new AI-powered dome cameras.
The new dome cameras are said to provide outstanding image quality and forensic details in up to 8 MP, even in harsh weather and environments.

According to Axis Communications, the dome cameras are built on ARTPEC-9, and offer accelerated performance to run analytics applications on the edge.
AXIS Q3546-LVE and AXIS Q3556-LVE are said to offer 4 MP resolution and include a wide standard 10 mm lens or a 51 mm tele lens.
The AXIS Q3556-LVE also has an acoustic sensor and AXIS Audio Analytics pre-installed.
There are also two 8 MP models available: AXIS Q3548-LVE and AXIS Q3558-LVE, where AXIS Q3558-LVE also includes an acoustic sensor with AXIS Audio Analytics.

Made from high-grade aluminium, the robust, IK10-, IP66-, IP6K9K- and NEMA 4X-rated outdoor-ready dome cameras are both vandal and impact-resistant.
They have an operating temperature range from -55°C to 55 °C (-122 to 131°F) and can also be powered with DC and PoE to ensure power redundancy.
Axis Edge Vault – a hardware-based cybersecurity platform – safeguards the device and offers FIPS 140-3 Level 3 certified secure key storage and operations.
