Everbridge, the global provider of critical event management and enterprise safety software applications to help keep people safe and businesses running, has announced that it will be exhibiting, sponsoring and speaking at this year’s ASIS Europe (Rotterdam, 27-29 March). The focus of Everbridge’s participation will be on helping businesses to more easily handle crisis scenarios and business disruptions through the next generation of its SaaS-based Critical Event Management (CEM) platform. The solution provides an integrated view for managing and responding to enterprise risk across business continuity, employee/asset safety, supply chain and business operations.

The location of ASIS Europe 2019 in Rotterdam complements Everbridge’s recent acquisition of Respond and supports the company’s growing presence in the Dutch market and across EMEA.

“Our footprint in Europe is growing exponentially, including in the Netherlands market where Respond is based, so we expect a lot of interest at the event,” commented Javier Colado, Senior Vice President International at Everbridge. “We are delighted to be part of the ASIS European conference for the first time, which provides an excellent opportunity to showcase our solutions to a large audience of security professionals.”

At the conference, Everbridge will show its Safety Connection, Mass Notification and Incident Management capabilities, demonstrating how its comprehensive Critical Event Management (CEM) platform enables businesses to manage incident response by location and through communications with employees and the general population. In parallel, the company will show how the solution from Respond technology makes risk and crisis management easier and more economical so that events can be resolved more quickly and with less negative impact. Now together under the Everbridge brand, the CEM platform is united with Respond’s proven population alerting, crisis management and notification applications, giving visitors to ASIS Europe 2019 the opportunity to see an unequaled set of solutions designed to help organisations on a global scale.

The company is also involved in the conference schedule, with John van Laerhoven, MD for Everbridge Netherlands presenting as part of the Innovation track. The session, which takes place at 1.55pm on 28 March is titled: ‘Why a Unified Approach to Critical Event Management Improves Operational Resilience.’ The presentation will share the findings of Forrester research commissioned by Everbridge in 2018 that shows companies are investing in controls to protect their organisations from critical events, but still struggling to optimise and operationalise technology to ensure a more proactive and strategic approach to risk management and response.
