ESET has announced its latest global campaign called “Prevention First: Decoding to Protect Business.”

The marketing and communications campaign aims to educate organisations of any size on building their cybersecurity strategies by incorporating a proactive, prevention-first approach to stay ahead of cyber threats.

Most businesses focus mainly on detecting and responding to cyber-attacks only after they occur.

While detection is crucial, this approach can leave businesses struggling to catch up with increasingly sophisticated threats.

The campaign is designed to encourage businesses to reduce its attack surface, invest in effective cybersecurity and be prepared for cyber-attacks before they have occurred.

“Actionable insights”

Mária Trnková, Chief Marketing Officer, ESET commented: “Prevention is achievable with the right tools. We’ve built this campaign to help organisations stop threats before they even enter their networks.

“Our goal is to provide not just the knowledge, but the actionable insights that businesses need to protect themselves in today’s digital world.”

Key elements

The campaign decodes cybersecurity and aims to break down the prevention concepts into clear, actionable insights, that businesses can follow.

It will help businesses to:

  • Further understand the critical components of a holistic security strategy
  • Minimise attack surfaces to reduce complexity
  • Achieve better cyber-hygiene
  • Encourage compliance

The campaign will be rolled out across ESET offices globally over the next year and will feature educational content, visual tools and a social media extension.

This will help to decode the complexities of cybersecurity and how to build preventive measures.

ESET has been helping companies prevent damage from the evolving cyber-threat landscape for the past 30 years.

It provides businesses with security solutions powered by:

  • AI
  • Machine learning
  • Human expertise
  • Prevention-first approach

ESET claims that it is helping organisations build resilience and stay secure in an increasingly digital world by decoding complex cybersecurity topics and providing businesses with the right tools to introduce preventive measures.
