Eagle Eye Networks has launched its $1m 2026 Drako Smart Video Security Grant for Schools.
The grant is dedicated to strengthening safety and security for students, staff and community members in K-12 schools, colleges and universities.
Awardees may use the grant to implement Eagle Eye’s new AI Camera Gun Detection.
According to the company, grant recipients may receive up to one year of funding for the Eagle Eye Cloud VMS (video management system) and associated components.
This smart video security solution includes security cameras, gun detection, 911 camera sharing, cloud storage, vape sensors, centralised management and built-in analytics and AI features to help schools quickly address security issues and improve operations.
Schools can reportedly use their existing security cameras and have the option to integrate their on-site surveillance system into the Eagle Eye Cloud VMS.
This is the third time that Eagle Eye Networks has funded a Drako Smart Video Security Grants for Schools – more than $2m has been awarded to US schools through this grant.
“We are on a mission at Eagle Eye to help schools change the way they use security cameras,” commented Dean Drako, CEO, Eagle Eye Networks.
“Eagle Eye AI Gun Detection integrates with existing security cameras to detect brandished firearms in real-time, enabling proactive responses during an emergency.”
Grants will be awarded on an ongoing basis.
