DITEK, a provider of power protection solutions, is shipping an aggressively priced line of Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS) with a new compact form factor through the professional distribution channel. These units round out a comprehensive power protection product lineup that also includes Ethernet and Power over Ethernet (PoE) Network Protection and indoor/outdoor Surge Protection Devices.

“Our goal has always been to help our customers protect their essential electronic systems from the damaging effects of power surges and spikes,” said Michael Molinari, General Manager, DITEK. “Our UPS offering goes a big step further to not only protect the power supply, but to ensure power uptime that supports those vital systems through brief power outages. This is a natural extension of our lineup and reinforces our commitment to our customers served by professional integrators.”

DTK-UPS600 (600VA/360W) and DTK-UPS800 (800VA/480W) extend the lineup of comprehensive solutions to economically protect and power smaller electronic systems, including home and office workstations, POS and lottery terminals, fuel pumps, access control systems and more.

Both models provide comprehensive power protection against surges and spikes in a compact, economical package and make use of a built-in boost and buck AVR for voltage stabilisation. This UPS series will provide clean and stable power to connected equipment while its embedded microprocessor control guarantees exceptional reliability. They include protection for an Ethernet connection for maximum flexibility and six power outlets for connected equipment.

Battery run time at 25% of rated load is about 20 minutes (19 minutes for DTK-UPS600), and both models feature a fast recovery time of only four hours to reach 90% capacity. Both models include overload, discharge and overcharge protections and issue a loud audible warning when power or function is compromised.
