Businesses across sectors globally are experiencing more cyber threats as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic and rapid shift to remote working. These include an increase in targeted phishing and email spam, malware, ransomware and malicious domains. Cyber hackers are also looking to exploit vulnerabilities in an attempt to steal valuable information at this challenging time putting IT teams are under more pressure than ever before. International Cyber Expo 2020

The launch of International Cyber Expo (ICE) comes at an important time. Taking place on 2-3 December at Olympia in London, the event unites the worlds of cyber and physical security, co-located alongside the market leading – International Security Expo (ISE).

In the last edition of International Security Expo, 37% of the entire audience stated that ‘Cyber’ was one of their top priorities. Whilst the show already had a ‘Cybersecurity Zone’ supported by ADS & Tech UK, this large increase in interest in cyber coupled with the huge growth experienced by the industry as a whole, specifically gave confidence to give this community its own dedicated global event.

This is a perfect example of where the frequency of traditional physical security threats is now superseded by the frequency of cyber-attacks from serious organised crime and terrorism on CNI.
