Dahua Technology has announced the full compatibility of its camera and NVR portfolio with Arteco’s uSee VMS.
The company says that this marks an important advancement in delivering smarter, more efficient and standards-based security architectures.
Integration
The company stated that the integration of Dahua products with Arteco uSee utilises ONVIF Profiles T, G and especially M, enabling a deeper and more advanced level of interoperability across both devices and recorders.
ONVIF Profile M ensures comprehensive utilisation of metadata and analytics from Dahua cameras and NVRs, including AI-based events, object classifications, behavioral analytics and structured metadata.
uSee uses this information to perform fast and precise Event Search and Forensic Search, significantly improving investigation accuracy and response efficiency, Dahua added.
Benefits and advantages
According to the company, these capabilities create an open and scalable video surveillance ecosystem designed to evolve with the practical requirements of modern deployments, combining advanced AI metadata workflows and reliable edge storage management.
Through this integration, Dahua cameras and NVRs can now be seamlessly configured within the uSee VMS with support for video and audio streaming, smart events, metadata and full edge recording access via Profile G.
Paired with uSee’s Video Management, Event Search and Forensic Search features, the combined solution offers a high-performance and efficient option for system integrators and end users, Dahua highlighted.
“Beyond video transmission”
Mao Weiming, Chief Technology Expert of ONVIF Protocol at Dahua Technology commented: “The integration of ONVIF Profile M enables the joint solution of Dahua and Arteco to exchange the ‘intelligent metadata’ beyond video transmission, achieving intelligent analysis data transfer and coordination across brands.
“The deep integration and collaboration between Dahua and Arteco on ONVIF provide partners and end users with a more comprehensive and powerful option through an industry-acceptable standardised language,” Weiming concluded.
“Powerful, flexible and future-ready”
Marco Malavolti, Global Marketing Manager at Arteco stated: “The integration with Dahua across both cameras and NVRs strengthens our mission to deliver an open, metadata-driven VMS that adapts to real operational needs.
“Thanks to full support for ONVIF M, T and G, uSee can now extract deeper analytics, streamline forensic investigations and access edge recordings with absolute reliability.
“This collaboration enhances the capabilities of both platforms and gives partners and end users a more powerful, flexible and future-ready security ecosystem,” he concluded.
