In a 2024 report on the state of the UAE, it found that there were over 155,000 vulnerable assets, with a concerning trend of critical vulnerabilities remaining unresolved for over five years.
The study found that ransomware attacks make up over half of the cyber incidents.
The primary targets of these attacks are the government, energy and the IT sectors.
Which global experts are expected to be there?
In attendance of the conference will be many global experts including Fawaz Al Sumaim (Head of Cyber Crime Division) and Anoop Paudval (Ministry of Interior Bahrain).

The exhibition will host 1,200 exhibitors from more than 60 different nations. Intersec expects more than 42,000 trade visitors from around the world.
