We have raised the bar in site management innovation with the release of Command Centre v9.40, says Gallagher Security.
At the heart of this update is Gallagher’s commitment to future-ready security solutions.
This latest version introduces a suite of powerful enhancements that elevate performance, scalability and control, ensuring organisations are equipped to meet evolving security demands with confidence.
Major upgrades
Command Centre is Gallagher Security’s award-winning site management software.
It was the first system to offer alarm, access and perimeter security in one single product, and is one of the most feature-rich site management platforms available, offering users two feature upgrades each year.
Designed to integrate with a wide range of third-party applications, Command Centre empowers organisations to adapt and evolve alongside emerging technologies.
It’s built to protect some of the world’s most critical infrastructure, offering a robust, scalable solution that grows with your needs.
With the release of Command Centre v9.40 in November, Gallagher introduces enhancements that expand the capabilities of its multi-award-winning Controller 7000 (C7000) product range.
The most notable upgrade is the increased door capacity across the C7000 range, including the Standard, Enhanced and High Security variants, now supports the optional licensing expansion of up to 24 doors per controller, more than doubling the previous limit of 10, enabling streamlined infrastructure, reduced hardware costs and simplified system architecture without compromising performance.
Command Centre v9.40: “The platform for the future”
“When we launched the C7000, we said it was the platform for the future,” said Mark Junge, Chief Executive, Gallagher Security.
“With v9.40, we’re delivering on that promise. Even at full 24-door capacity, the C7000 range maintains high performance and access responsiveness, even in the most demanding environments.”
Additional upgrades include a doubling of supported HBUS readers (from 20 to 40) and OSDP readers (from 16 to 32), along with increased inter-controller communications from 60 to 100.
These improvements allow organisations to build larger, more complex networks while maintaining manageability and performance.
Command Centre v9.40 also introduces Lock Cycle Counting, a proactive maintenance feature that tracks lock usage to help prevent unexpected failures and support timely upgrades.
Another key addition is integration with Microsoft Entra ID for single sign-on, enabling secure authentication via OpenID Connect and supporting cloud-first identity strategies.
With enhanced scalability and smarter maintenance capabilities, the Command Centre 9.40 release delivers powerful innovations designed to help organisations stay ahead of ever-changing security challenges.
Paired with the advanced C7000 product range, Command Centre v9.40 creates a future-ready security ecosystem that’s made for more.
