Chubbsafes celebrates 190 years of heritage

Chubbsafes has proudly announced its 190th anniversary, since its first safe patent in 1835.
The company notes that in the past 190 years, it has become known for strength, dependability and innovation when protecting valuables.
Chubbsafes history
- In 1889 the brand opened a factory in Wolverhampton, England
- Chubbsafes’ history includes landmark innovations like the patented resistant safe and materials such as Torch and Drill Resistant (TDR) barriers
- In Anti-Arc materials in 1959, TDR barriers in 1962 and lightweight Dualite materials in 2004
- In 2019, Chubbsafes achieved T2 burglary certification, reaffirming its leadership in modern security
