New industry certification strengthens Mitie’s risk management offering

Mitie has strengthened its risk management and business continuity credentials by attaining the ISO 22301 certification.

ISO 22301 – which is the international standard for Business Continuity Management Systems (BCMS) – represents the highest level of commitment to business resilience and disaster preparedness.

Moreover, by attaining it, Mitie continues to demonstrate that the company’s risk management function has the ‘appropriate level of expertise in business resilience that meets international standards and recognises its ability to help maintain the critical operations of its customers and partners in the event of a major disruption to business operations.’

To achieve the certification, Mitie had to undergo rigorous assessments, both remote and site based.
