A new initiative to recognise outstanding security and resilience professionals across the Caribbean will be launched on Monday 5 April 2021.
The Caribbean Security & Resilience Awards have been created by the Caribbean Security and Resilience Network and International Security Journal. The event will celebrate the achievements and contributions of individuals throughout the region and promote the rapidly growing security community in the Caribbean.
“The Caribbean Security & Resilience Awards 2021 is the first event of its kind for the region. It will recognise the individuals who have really contributed to the protective profession within the archipelago. Having met so many talented individuals along the way, I am excited to see who comes out on top, during the assessment process,” said Malcolm B. Reid, MA, MSIA, MBA, CPP, FBCI, CFE, CBCP, global security thought leader and part of the organising team of the awards.
A detailed call for nominations will be issued on 5 April 2021. Once nominations close in May, judges will review them and select the shortlist of nominees.
The judging panel and further nomination details will be released shortly.
