Biometrics protect Legislative Assembly of El Salvador

The Legislative Assembly of El Salvador has deployed a new biometric system.
RecFaces’ Id-Guard controls entrance to the building by utilising software that identifies visitors by face.
According to the company, Id-Guard instantly detects a person in the video stream and compares the data with the archives in less than ten seconds.

The biometric solution responds to threats in real time – it is also capable of issuing notifications about special events or violations to the operator.
Id-Guard is a boxed solution which is installed on a ready-made video surveillance system.
The installation process takes minutes.
Not only did RecFaces install the solution, the company provided online training for employees of the integrator company, NordicTech, in the training centre.
RecFaces and NordicTech offered the Assembly a demo of Id-Guard before the client decided to install the system on a permanent basis.
