According to barox, the RY-LGSO38-10 19″ 10Gb Ethernet switch is the first in a number of new 10G options due to be released through the course of this year.
It is said to feature 10 x 10Gb port capability with a substantial 200Gb backplane, DMS, strong security features and dynamic routing.
In line with barox’s other Layer 3 based, advanced switch options, this unit also includes higher level features, such as OSPFv2/v3 and RIPv1/v2.
The new switch is said to also feature extensive device and network management functionality capable of supporting the most complex of network requirements.
“We are proud to be expanding”
“Our latest 10Gb products have already been rolled out within projects across Public Space and Critical National Infrastructure Networks in the UK and beyond,” commented Sarah Moss, Sales Manager UK & Eire, barox.
“Supporting system integrators, the new barox 10Gb range includes an easy-to-use graphical interface and diagnostic tools that give the ability for network switches to act as ‘health centres’ for other devices on the network.”
“We are proud to be expanding our 10Gb switch range with the new RY-LGSO38-10 Ethernet switch,” added Rudolf Rohr, Co-founder & Managing Partner, barox.
“This new addition delivers strengthened cybersecurity and will continue to provide our expanding customer base with the ultimate peace-of-mind and performance – delivering the best network performance and cybersecurity between camera and control room across a broad range of applications.
“This advanced range of 10Gb Ethernet switches sets barox apart from other switch manufacturers – establishing barox as the go-to brand for performance and security.”
