dormakaba has acquired the operating businesses of Azure Access Technology Inc. and ADME, Inc. (Apollo Security).

Azure Access – which was founded in 2019 in Newport Beach, California – develops adaptable electronic access control hardware for the US commercial market.
Apollo Security, also based in Newport Beach, develops and manufactures access control and integrated security systems.
Together, the companies employ around 30 people and serve access control companies worldwide.

“Historically, dormakaba has mainly offered engineered solutions as a bundle.

The signing and closing of the transaction happened on 14 August 2026; the parties have agreed not to disclose further details or the financial terms of the transaction.
