Axon Vision has announced a strategic collaboration with ParaZero Technologies to introduce a new integrated configuration that marks the first expansion of the ForceField family.

Collaboration

While the initial ForceField configuration is designed to protect maneuvering forces through an integrated kinetic response, the new integrated solution combines ForceField with DefendAir by ParaZero.

According to the company, DefendAir is ParaZero’s autonomous net-based interceptor system, which will extend the ForceField family to operational environments where non-destructive interception is preferred, including critical infrastructure, airports, homeland security, energy facilities and other sensitive sites, while maintaining a common EDGE AI core across both configurations.

Built around ForceField’s Detect, Understand, Respond operational cycle, the integrated solution combines passive electro-optical detection, AI-driven analysis and engagement management with Man-on-the-Loop control, and DefendAir’s autonomous interception capability.

The result is a modular Counter-UAS solution capable of addressing a broader range of operational scenarios while maintaining the same operational workflow and decision-making architecture.

Axon said that the integrated configuration was recently demonstrated during it’s trial campaign in Israel, where the companies successfully validated the interoperability between the two systems under operationally representative conditions.

The collaboration demonstrates ForceField’s open and modular architecture, enabling the integration of complementary interception capabilities to address different operational requirements while leveraging the strengths of each company’s technology.

“An open and modular operational architecture”

Neri Zin, CEO of Axon Vision said: “ForceField was designed from day one as an open and modular operational architecture, rather than a single product configuration.

“Different operational environments require different engagement capabilities.

“Our collaboration with ParaZero demonstrates how the same ForceField architecture can support complementary interception options while maintaining the same Edge AI core and operational workflow.

“This approach allows us to address a broader range of operational requirements while continuing to build the ForceField family around a common technology foundation,” he concluded.

“Highly complementary technologies”

Ariel Alon, CEO of ParaZero Technologies, said: “The integration of DefendAir with ForceField brings together two highly complementary technologies to address one of today’s fastest-growing security challenges.

“Together, we are expanding the range of operational environments that can benefit from advanced Counter-UAS capabilities, providing customers with an effective non-destructive interception option for protecting critical infrastructure, airports, energy facilities, homeland security assets and other sensitive sites.”
