AURA has been named as a 2026 ESX Innovation Awards winner in the Remote Guarding and Incident Response category.
AURA was also presented with the People’s Choice Innovation Awards, voted for by ESX attendees.
According to the company, the awards recognise outstanding products and services that are helping drive the electronic security and life safety industry forward.
ESX recognition
Presented annually as part of the Electronic Security Expo (ESX), the awards celebrate technologies and service providers that help dealers, integrators, monitoring professionals and enterprise security teams improve operational performance, customer outcomes and long-term business growth.
AURA said that it was recognised for its scalable response platform, which connects alarm events to real-world intervention through a nationwide network of licensed private security responders.
The platform enables monitoring centres and security providers to dispatch the nearest available responder within seconds using intelligent dispatch technology that accounts for proximity, availability and live operating conditions.
As a winner of the Remote Guarding and Incident Response award, AURA was invited to participate in the prestigious ESX Innovation Awards Showcase, which took place on 1 June 2026.
“The most exciting, impactful and innovative solution”
AURA highlighted that it was also one of six companies invited to EXS’ TechVision Challenge to give a “shark tank” style pitch.
Following the pitches, ESX attendees voted on the company they believe “represents the most exciting, impactful and innovative solution” – with AURA coming out on top.
AURA’s platform was spotlighted for its demonstrated measurable operational impact across the security ecosystem.
AURA said that when using the platform, it reduces average response times to under 18 minutes and has contributed to a 22% increase in positive incident resolutions.
At the same time, automation and integration capabilities deliver a 74% efficiency gain for alarm centre staff by eliminating manual coordination and dispatch processes.
“Built to solve that challenge”
Tim Garrett, President of AURA US said: “This award reflects the growing recognition that security outcomes matter more than alerts alone.
“Monitoring centres, integrators and enterprise customers are under increasing pressure to deliver faster, more accountable responses without adding operational complexity.
“AURA was built to solve that challenge by giving operators immediate access to verified, on-the-ground intervention through a seamless, scalable platform.”
The platform
AURA explained that its asset-light operating model enables security providers and monitoring centres to expand geographic coverage and support larger multi-site customers without the cost and complexity of building and managing fragmented guard operations internally.
By dynamically coordinating multiple vetted responder networks, the platform helps organisations scale response capabilities while improving service consistency and reducing operational friction.
The platform also creates new commercial opportunities for security providers by enabling response-enabled services that strengthen customer retention and generate recurring revenue streams, the company added.
“An important validation”
Warren Myers, Co-Founder and CEO of AURA stated: “Winning an ESX Innovation Award is an important validation of the momentum AURA is building across the US security market.
“As monitoring centres, integrators, and enterprise clients look for faster and more accountable response capabilities, we’re seeing growing demand for platforms that can deliver verified intervention at scale.
“This recognition reinforces the value of the infrastructure we’ve built to help our partners improve response outcomes, increase operational efficiency, and expand their service offerings,” he concluded.
