The i-reader Keypad simplifies the flexible implementation of 2FA at key openings or areas.
ASSA ABLOY highlights that switching between PIN, card and 2FA enables security teams to toggle any opening between fast/easy and higher-security access protection, including remotely.
Devices can be programmed to switch between card/PIN and 2FA at different times of day – boosting building security overnight when occupancy is lower, for example, and saving round-the-clock staff costs.
PINs may be issued remotely, further streamlining the management of contractors.
