ASSA ABLOY named as the 2022 Winner of the SIA NPS Merit Award

The Security Industry Association (SIA) New Products & Solutions (NPS) Awards Committee has named ASSA ABLOY as the 2022 recipient of the SIA NPS Merit Award. ASSA ABLOY will be presented with the award at the 2022 SIA NPS Awards Ceremony, which will be held during ISC West.
The SIA NPS Awards, established in 1979, recognise innovative security products, services and solutions. The awards are presented annually in partnership with ISC West. Technologies showcased through this program are used in the protection of life and property in residential, commercial and institutional settings.
The SIA NPS Merit Award recognises individuals and/or companies who, through their support of the SIA NPS Awards, demonstrate a commitment to the vision and mission of the program, contribute to its success and, in so doing, promote the advancement of SIA and the security industry overall.

ASSA ABLOY is a longtime SIA corporate member and was named the 2020 SIA Member of the Year. The company has been a frequent participant in the SIA NPS Awards, entering its solutions and services into the program each year in a variety of categories.
“This year, the NPS Committee voted to present the SIA NPS Merit Award to ASSA ABLOY based on the company’s participation in the program year after year with multiple entries across a wide array of categories. This participation is a key indicator of ASSA ABLOY’s commitment to innovation and the advancement of the security industry and serves as an example of how companies like ASSA ABLOY understand and realise the value of the NPS in bringing their products to market,” said SIA NPS Committee Chair, Christopher Grniet. “To those ends, my fellow NPS Committee members and I would like to congratulate ASSA ABLOY on being selected for the Merit Award this year and also thank them for their continued involvement in the NPS program.”
The 2022 SIA New Products and Solutions Awards Ceremony will take place on Wednesday 23 March, at 3:30pm. PDT on The Bridge Stage on the ISC West show floor. During the ceremony, in addition to presenting ASSA ABLOY with the NPS Merit Award, SIA will honour the winners in 30+ product categories and present the award for Best New Product of 2022 and the prestigious Judges’ Choice Award.
