ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems has announced that its AI solution for automatic sliding doors, ecoLOGIC, has earned the Certified Energy Savings Certification from GreenCircle Certified.

ecoLOGIC
According to ASSA ABLOY, ecoLOGIC is a breakthrough in intelligent door automation.
Through the door’s behaviour, it influences and reduces the total energy consumption of the whole building, helping customers optimise their environmental footprint.
The company highlights that it integrates with existing automatic sliding door systems and uses advanced AI algorithms to dynamically optimise door settings without the need for additional sensors.

ASSA ABLOY states that ecoLOGIC fine-tunes door speed, hold-open times and closing behaviour to balance smooth customer flow with climate stability.
The company highlights that as a result, unnecessary movements of the door are decreased with door opening cycles reducing by 2–7%.
This minimises wear and tear, lowers maintenance needs and extends product life which ASSA ABLOY says is especially valuable in high-traffic environments.
