Travis Mills, retired US Army Staff Sergeant and quadruple amputee
Retired US Army Staff Sergeant Travis Mills is one of only five quadruple amputees to survive injuries sustained from the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.
After being wounded by an IED (improvised explosive device) in Afghanistan in 2012, Mills embarked on a journey of recovery that exemplifies extraordinary resilience, determination and leadership.
He founded the Travis Mills Foundation, which provides critical support to injured veterans and their families, and has become a sought-after speaker on overcoming adversity, mental toughness and never giving up.
