Apstec Systems has confirmed a change to its leadership structure which the company has said will better support its global expansion and innovation roadmap.
Gustafsson appointed as Group CEO
To prepare Apstec for a new phase of growth, Niclas Gustafsson has been appointed Group CEO.
According to a recent statement, the leadership change will see Gustafsson oversee company-wide strategy, investor relations and long-term business development.
Gustafsson has significant security industry experience, having recently served as Vice President Sales at Apstec and – prior to that – in senior roles at companies such as G4S and Stanley Security.
He provides a strong focus on accelerating growth across regions through sales and marketing.
The company has also confirmed that Stephen Cooper will continue as CEO and will remain focused on driving the operational business and delivering on customer commitments.
“Long-term value”
David Kellermann, Chairman, Board of Directors, Apstec commented: “We are very pleased to appoint Niclas Gustafsson Group CEO of Apstec Systems.
“Niclas brings a wealth of experience, and has demonstrated strong strategic vision during his time with the company,” continued Kellermann.
“His deep understanding of the security industry, combined with a proven ability to drive growth, makes him exceptionally well-suited to lead Apstec into its next phase.
“The Board is confident that under Niclas’s leadership, together with Stephen Cooper as CEO, Apstec is well positioned to strengthen its global presence and deliver long-term value.”
