Safetyflex Barriers has confirmed that its Truckstopper anti-terror bollards have been installed at government buildings in Casablanca, Morocco.

The new contract means Safetyflex’s solutions have now been utilised in six continents.

Safetyflex’s Truckstopper

Safetyflex’s Truckstopper anti-terror range utilises military-grade steel to provide resolute hostile vehicle mitigation.

The solution’s unique patented design requires only a shallow foundation and comes in a variety of slimline shroud options. The anti-terrorist bollard can be fixed or removable.

Safetyflex has secured 36 patents worldwide and has won more than 15 awards for its innovation.

“One of our most popular ranges”

“We’re the only company in the world to use this type of material for anti-terrorist bollards and barriers, and the Truckstopper has become one of our most popular ranges,” said Marcus Gerrard, Director, Safetyflex.

“We are incredibly proud of our strong export book which now represents almost half of our orders, so to break into a new market in Africa is testament to the strength and reputation of our products and shows that we are a global leader in the anti-terrorist barrier market

“This particular type of bollard is popular for public realm as it has a super slim appearance that no other company can offer and only requires a simple shallow foundation resulting in less disruption to public footpaths and walkways, whilst the slimline finish means it remains tough on terrorists without losing its aesthetic appeal.”
