Altronix is showcasing several new additions to its well-established line of security, access, surveillance and fire products at Intersec 2022 (stand S1-K09). These new solutions enable more edge devices to be deployed at longer distances and with more power to accommodate a greater range of specialised surveillance and security applications.

Highlighted features include the ability to deploy devices in remote locations with or without local power and the ability to power access and surveillance systems utilising 802.3bt PoE, increasing overall security, while reducing labour and installation costs.

“We are pleased to be back in-person this year at Intersec, which affords us the privilege of rekindling our relationships with our partners and opening new opportunities in the EMEA,” said Alan Forman, President, Altronix Corporation.

Altronix is turning up the power at Intersec 2022 with an enhanced portfolio of NetWay and NetWay Spectrum PoE and Fiber Solutions that accommodate 802.3bt IP cameras, illuminators, locking devices, LED lighting and more. Providing up to 90W per port, new midspans and hardened PoE switches accommodate fiber and/or structured cable for a wide range of indoor and outdoor applications.

Altronix Pace1KRT Single Pair Long Range Ethernet Adapters transmits power and data up to 1000m over a single twisted pair. This solution is ideal when deploying IP devices at longer distances for citywide surveillance, elevator communications, HVAC applications and more.

Adding greater value to your system, new NetWay PoE Adapters enable two devices over a single structured cable. NetWay3012P Converter/Adapter provides PoE+ (30W) and 12VDC simultaneously to power IP cameras with external microphones and more, while NetWay2ES 2-port switch provides 30W each over two ports (60W total) for IP cameras, external microphones, IR illuminators and more, reducing installation time and costs.

A new access control power option, Altronix Tango1B PoE Driven Power Supply/Charger converts an 802.3bt PoE input into a regulated 24VDC and/or 12VDC output. Tango leverages low-voltage installation methods, reducing labour costs associated with dedicated conduit and wire runs. When combined with Altronix stackable sub-assemblies, Tango can support up to eight locking devices with power for controllers and ancillary devices and support a single Lithium Iron Phosphate battery (LiFePO4) for backup.

Altronix is also displaying its expanded offering of Trove Access and Power Integration solutions that are available in wall or rack mount configurations and offer expanded capacity to accommodate more access control hardware with or without Altronix power. Trove saves valuable space while making system configuration and deployment faster and easier.
