Designed to seamlessly integrate with a variety of common area openings, these locks come in popular finishes and contemporary lever styles, ensuring they complement diverse design aesthetics.
Additionally, the locks operate effectively in offline or No-Tour environments, streamlining access rights updates without requiring property manager intervention.
Brian Telljohann, Director of Product Management, Commercial Electronics, Allegion commented: “Designed specifically for the multifamily market and backed by Schlage’s legacy of trust and innovation, the XE360 Series is a versatile and affordable solution to create safe and secure communities for residents and enhance the multifamily living experience.
“A strategic evolution of our multifamily ecosystem, the XE360 Series seamlessly integrates with Schlage Control mobile enabled smart locks and features applications across the entire building, which allows multifamily operators to leverage a single access control and management solution without compromising security and design.”
The XE360 Series by the company is designed to integrate seamlessly with both Allegion and third party access control software providers and proptech systems.
This open architecture design gives property owners and operators the flexibility to choose management systems that suit their needs while ensuring a convenient and secure experience for residents.
Mobile access control is becoming increasingly popular in apartment living.
Allegion’s 2023 Multifamily Living Trends Report found that over 59% of survey respondents would consider a future residence if they could access their unit using a mobile device.
The XE360 Series supports various mobile credential technologies, including MIFARE, Bluetooth and NFC mobile, with advanced encryption to safeguard data and communications.
“Simplify access control”
Telljohann added: “As the multifamily market continues to evolve, the XE360 Series equips property owners and managers with a curated set of features designed to simplify access control, thoughtful designs and finishes to complement today’s aesthetics and the power to choose software that meet the needs of their building.”
The XE360 Series extends Schlage‘s multifamily electronic access control ecosystem, which includes Schlage Control smart locks designed for multifamily resident doors.
This allows property owners to implement a single system solution across various openings, including main entrances, resident entrances, paths of egress, common areas and workspaces.
