Alcatraz AI appoints new Vice President of Operations

Alcatraz AI has announced the appointment of its newest Vice President of Operations, Annie Pratt.
Pratt is set to play a key role in the company’s executive leadership team and will aid them in the ongoing procedures and future initiatives for enterprise and Fortune 2000 customer growth.
At Alcatraz AI, Pratt will be an integral figure of the executive team who will oversee the company’s ongoing diverse operations, ensuring business efficiency.
Pratt’s key responsibilities will include having a hand in legal matters, product, engineering, marketing, financial growth and sales.
The history of the new VP of Operations
According to the company, the new VP of Operations has a history of proven success in product launch, management and design.
Pratt has a background in building and scaling technology businesses.
After studying Product Design at Stanford, where she received the Stanford Award of Excellence as a top 10% student for her commitment to leadership, Pratt later joined the Axon Enterprise team and worked a five year tenure with the company serving as a Product Manager and Director of Consumer Products.
In these roles, she oversaw the company’s launch of connected camera and software solutions in a hardware-as-a-service business model for law enforcement, including the dash camera product line.
She then went on to run the Consumer Products business unit with its own P&L, dedicated sales, marketing, manufacturing, supply chain and quality functions.
Pratt’s most recent role
Pratt joins Alcatraz AI from Atlis Motor Vehicles (now Nxu), where she became a member of the founding team as President.
She drove operations across the business, including engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, quality, program management, finance, fundraising, legal, marketing and business development functions.
In 2022, Pratt and her team took the company public on Nasdaq, after which she oversaw the team’s navigation of the changing public market.
