Airbus presented its Tactilon Agnet mission-critical push-to-talk (MCPTT) solution at the IEEE 5G World Forum 2020 which took place from 10 September to 2 October.

Global experts from the fields of industry, academics and research attended the presentation which highlighted the benefits brought by the use of hybrid mission-critical and secure communications over LTE and 5G broadband networks compared to systems operating over narrowband networks. Airbus’ all-in-one Tactilon Agnet mission-critical push-to-talk (MCPTT) public safety solution was demonstrated to the attendees as an example of how hybrid technology can help end users embrace future technological evolutions in a smooth and cost-optimised way while maintaining the high level of security and reliability needed.

Secure communication from Airbus

Airbus’ Tactilon Agnet MCPTT and its integration with an LTE or 5G network in 3GPP, offers smart device users a redefined secure group communication and cooperation.
