Airbus Defence and Space has recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with PT Indosat Tbk and PT SOG Indonesia.
The MoU is set to explore a potential collaboration on deploying Agnet – Airbus’ mission-critical communication and collaboration platform – in the Indonesian market.
A strategic partnership
According to a recent announcement, the signing took place during Indo Defence 2025.
Alain Ruinet, Head of APAC Sales and Programme Delivery, Public Safety and Security was the representative for Airbus.
Lisbon Pantas Simangunsong, SVP-Head of B2B Financial & Government Segment was present on behalf of Indosat and Sanny Jauwhannes, Director at SOG Indonesia also joined.
Under the agreement, all three parties will assess the feasibility of a go-to-market strategy for Agnet.
This will include an evaluation of business opportunities to deliver a solution for government agencies, public safety, defence, critical national infrastructure and industrial users in Indonesia.
“Global expertise” and “local strengths”
“This collaboration reflects our shared commitment to supporting Indonesia’s digital transformation with secure, mission-critical collaboration solutions,” commented Ruinet.
“By combining Airbus’ global expertise with the local strengths of Indosat and PT SOG, we aim at delivering innovative capabilities that enhance public safety, disaster management and critical infrastructure resilience across the country.”
