Airbus opens subsidiary in Slovakia to support Ministry of Interior projects

Airbus has announced that a subsidiary in Bratislava, Slovakia has opened to support Ministry of Interior projects and related activities.
According to the company, it has been a partner since 1998 and provides Tetrapol technology for SITNO; the national digital radio communication network and infrastructure, used daily by the forces of the Slovak Republic.
Moreover, the company is currently supporting the modernisation of the critical-communications network as local support services which will ensure the continuity of essential voice communications services while allowing the orderly introduction of new data applications.
“I am very proud to announce the opening of our new offices. This is part of a long-term growth strategy which brings us closer to our customers. They will now be able to receive dedicated support and talk to Airbus employees who are at hand and speak the local language,” said Philippe Devos, Head of Sales for Slovak Republic for Secure Land Communications at Airbus.
“This step is going to strengthen our position across the country, targeting growth in the defence and security sectors, as well as in the helicopter domain. We are also delighted to be able to contribute to the industrial ecosystem and employment,” added Jacques Garrigue, Airbus International Vice President for Central Europe.
