acre security has appointed Jon Nelson as Senior Vice President of Engineering.
Nelson – who has more than 25 years of experience leading large-scale, cross-functional engineering and product development teams – will oversee acre’s global engineering strategy.
He will also be responsible for looking after the company’s platform transformation initiatives and its delivery of security solutions.

Nelson joins the acre security team from Rockwell Automation.
In his previous role, he led the Managed Services team within Rockwell’s Digital business, serving enterprise customers across product lifecycle management, supply chain and predictive analytics.
Previously, as a Partner at Kalypso, a Rockwell Automation company, he spearheaded a multi-year transformation program in the medical sector.
In his new role, Nelson will lead acre’s engineering organisation with a focus on operational excellence, product lifecycle integration and platform consolidation.
He will be responsible for modernising engineering execution across the company’s product lines and aligning product development with business growth and customer success.
