Since joining acre in 2024, Sokka has overseen two of the company’s core business units, Comnet and Intrusion, while playing a key role on the executive leadership team.
acre states that he brings more than two decades of experience scaling enterprise software businesses, leading digital innovation and building high-performing, customer-centric teams.
Sokka succeeds John Skowronski, who has served as Interim CEO since August 2024. Skowronski will now serve as an Advisor to the Board of Directors, continuing to support the company’s long-term vision.
The company highlights that as CEO, Sokka will lead the next chapter of acre’s growth by focusing on deepening customer and partner relationships and advancing a unified platform strategy that bridges today’s systems with tomorrow’s connected ecosystems.
By integrating access control, identity and intrusion, acre says that it is aiding customers in modernising at their own pace, offering smarter, more adaptable security without sacrificing stability.
“Unlocking what’s next for the future”

“We have a strong foundation and an extraordinary team. Now it’s about clarity, focus and execution, staying close to our customers, doubling down on innovation and unlocking what’s next for the future of security. I’m excited for what’s ahead,” Sokka concluded.
